Your Arrival at The Dawson Whitetail Ranch lodge

Our Hunting Lodge in Texas comes with 4 bedrooms (12 beds), 3 bathrooms, living room with TV, leather recliners & couch, kitchen, formal dining room, breakfast dining area, maid service, hot showers, and family style meals that are prepared on site by our cooks. Special dietary needs are not a problem with advance notice. The Hunting Lodge is decorated with rustic furniture and trophy mounts harvested from our ranch, throughout America, New Zealand and South Africa for your viewing pleasure.

Texas Hunting Lodge

Upon arrival at the Hunting Lodge, expect to receive a guest orientation that includes an overview of our program, staff introductions, our gun safety policy, & sighting in of your firearms as needed. Our cooks prepare delicious home cooked meals three times a day and we stock plenty of snacks, appetizers, bottled water and soft drinks. Our insurance carrier requires that we do not provide any alcoholic beverages but our guests can bring whatever they choose. Obviously we can’t endorse consumption until after the hunting ends for the day.

The 1600 sq. foot outdoor covered Outdoor Entertainment Patio is a main attraction and a one of kind. It has dining tables, pool table, ping pong table, foosball, large mesquite wood serving bar, microwave, ice machine, neon lights, stereo, & a massive rock fireplace with rocking chairs. You can also relax in the adjoining swimming pool that is “naturally heated” by the South Texas sun. You certainly will find yourself enjoying time here at the lodge when not hunting.
